Reference Images and BGM
Covers reference images for appearance consistency during image generation, and background music settings for chat room ambience.
Beyond auto-displaying images, the Media tab has features to set reference images that keep the appearance of image generation results consistent and background music for the chat room's mood. Both features are Detail mode only.
Keeping appearance consistent with reference images
When you designate a specific image as a reference image (isReferenceImage), it is used as an
appearance reference for the character appearing when a user generates an image during the
conversation. It helps reduce the problem of the face, hair color, or outfit changing every time.
When you turn on a reference image, you enter a reference character name
(referenceCharacterName, up to 20 characters). When this name appears during image generation,
that image is used as the appearance standard.
You can designate up to 2 reference images. Use this when you want to fix the appearance of key figures, such as the protagonist and the love interest.
Background music settings
If you put a YouTube link into the background music URL (background_music_url), it plays as ambience
in the chat room. It is a staging element that brings out the mood of a scene.
Background music is strictly for UX (staging) unrelated to the AI conversation. It has no effect on the character's prompt or response content, so do not mistake it for a conversation setting.
Summary
| Setting | Role | Effect on AI conversation |
|---|---|---|
| Reference image | Character appearance reference during image generation | Affects image generation results only |
| Background music | Chat room ambience (YouTube) | None (UX only) |
