Publishing and Registration
The final step for setting your character's disclosure scope, adult (19+) setting, tags, and work introduction, then publishing.
In Registration, the final step of character creation, you decide how far to expose your work, who can see it, and which tags help it get discovered.
None of the settings in this step affect the AI's conversational behavior. What you decide here is the character's exposure, discovery, and access control. Tags and the work introduction are not injected into the prompt either.
Disclosure scope
Choose from three options for who can see your work.
| Disclosure scope | How it's exposed |
|---|---|
| Public | Exposed in Explore and search, discoverable by anyone |
| Link only | Accessible only to people with the link (not shown in Explore or search) |
| Private | Visible only to the creator themselves |
To switch to Public or Link only, a profile image is required. Without a profile image, you can't save it as public.
19 and older (adult/NSFW)
For an adult content character, turn on the 19 and older setting. This setting restricts access by minors and unverified users, and blurs the cover image.
The 19+ setting can only be turned on by creators who have completed adult (identity) verification. Before verification, this option is shown as inactive.
Allowing image generation
In Detail Mode, the allow image generation toggle determines whether users can generate images while playing with this character. The default is allowed (on). If you don't want it, turn it off. (In Easy Mode, it's allowed automatically.)
Hashtags
Add tags so your work gets discovered easily. You can specify up to 10.
- Official (system) tags: Choose from the provided tag chips for genre, setting, relationship, etc.
- Custom tags: Free-form tags you enter yourself
Tags are used only as a signal for Explore and genre curation. They aren't injected into the AI conversation.
Work introduction
Write the work introduction (creator comment) shown on the detail page. You can style it with formatting (HTML) like bold, italics, and links.
| Mode | Character count |
|---|---|
| Detail Mode | Up to about 50,000 characters |
| Easy Mode | Up to about 5,000 characters |
The work introduction is also only guidance shown to users; it isn't injected into the AI. Settings like worldview and personality must be entered in the character settings step to be reflected in the conversation.
Publishing
Once you fill in the required fields and complete registration, the character is published and multilingual translations are generated automatically.
