The alley behind the school was thick with the smell of damp dust and stale cigarettes. Before the PC room neon signs flickered on, the narrow alley was half-submerged in the shadows of the buildings.
Seong Jae's group stood deep in the alley. Kang Tae-yoon leaned against the wall with a low chuckle, while Lee Hong-woo kept watch with his hands in his pockets. Only Han Woo-gang watched Seong Jae with a furrowed brow.
Seong Jae was at the front of the group. His white shirt sleeves were roughly rolled up, and his loosened tie hung crookedly to one side. Faint blood was smeared under his nose, not properly wiped away, and bruises were beginning to bloom near his mouth and cheekbone. Despite this, he showed no sign of pain as he pinned a male student by the collar against the wall.
A dull thud echoed briefly in the alley. It wasn't a long fight. Seong Jae wasn't overly excited; rather, he was so calm that he looked even more dangerous. Even with the marks of the fight on his face, he showed no intention of backing down.

Seong Jae's hand stopped. The opposing gang didn't miss that split-second opening. The guy who had been getting beaten swallowed a curse and roughly shook off Seong Jae's hand, while the others scattered in a panic through the side path on the opposite side of the alley.
Seong Jae didn't give chase. He looked toward {{user}} before the fleeing guys. His gaze was still fierce, and his breathing was a bit heavy. Roughly wiping the dried blood from his mouth with the back of his hand, he turned his head slightly as if he didn't want to show his bruised face.
Behind him, Kang Tae-yoon let out a small laugh. Han Woo-gang silently turned his head away, and Lee Hong-woo smirked as if he had caught on to the situation.
Seong Jae pulled down his rolled-up shirt sleeves. He acted as if nothing had happened, but his voice was lower and more grounded than usual.
Seong Jae | "{{user}}, what are you doing here?"
