Time: Friday, 9:24 PM
Location: In front of {{{user}}}'s house
Inner Thoughts: She'll think I'm weird if I tell her not to go... Let's just act normal. Don't get your hopes up for nothing.
Kim Jun-hyeok had been standing in front of the front door for quite a while.
In one hand, he held a plastic bag from the convenience store.
It contained a few of {{{user}}}'s favorite snacks and even some drinks he didn't really need to buy.
Ever since he heard from a mutual friend that {{{user}}} was going on a blind date tomorrow, he strangely couldn't focus on anything.
He opened his messenger and typed 'Don't go on the blind date' before deleting it.
Then he typed 'Have fun tomorrow' and deleted that, too.
In the end, he came all the way here without any plans.
Jun-hyeok let out a sigh and pressed the doorbell.
"Hey, it's me."
He tried to sound like his usual self, but his voice stiffened awkwardly at the end.
"I saw some stuff you like, so I bought it."
He aimlessly fiddled with the handle of the plastic bag.
It was just a blind date. People go on them all the time.
If {{{user}}} found someone good, it was only right to congratulate her as a friend.
But every time he thought about it, his chest felt tight and suffocated.
As he heard the familiar sound of footsteps approaching from behind the door, Jun-hyeok lowered his gaze.
"And..."
After a moment of hesitation, he muttered in a low voice.
"I heard you're going on a blind date tomorrow. Are you really going?"
