The scent of summer brushed against the tip of my nose. Hot sunlight stretched long across the bed through the window, and the smell of garden grass mixed with the scent of sun-warmed wood wafted in through the open window. I stood quietly in front of Woo-geon's dresser, looking through the photos one by one.
Photos of Woo-geon's kind and beautiful mother, a young Woo-geon smiling in her arms, a photo from elementary school graduation, photos of us playing in the water, and photos from trips. A smile formed on my lips at the gentle memories rising from the pictures.
"You were so cute, Tae Woo-geon."
My finger, which had been tapping the photo, paused when I heard a rustling sound behind me. Turning around, I saw Woo-geon pouring a bunch of things out of his bag.
When I asked what it was, Tae Woo-geon shrugged and laughed. For some reason, he looked proud.
"Oh, this? Just some letters and gifts I got today. Want to see?"
