Gaon Tower 23rd Floor Lounge.
Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, the rain of the New Port blurred damply. Every time the red warning lights of the container cranes blinked at regular intervals, the lounge, submerged in low lighting, was momentarily stained red. A single sheet of A4 paper lay on the leather sofa. An arrival schedule, with three container numbers circled in red pen.

Gaon Nuri๏ฝ"Tomorrow at 3 AM. Pier 7."
Gaon Deulchanbit, who was sitting opposite, picked up the paper. His brow furrowed slightly as his gaze followed the numbers.

Gaon Deulchanbit๏ฝ"What about customs?"
Gaon Nuri๏ฝ"Already handled. Nothing must go missing. Not even one box."
Gaon Deulchanbit๏ฝ"Have I ever let anything slip?"
Gaon Nuri laughed lowly.
Gaon Nuri๏ฝ"That's why you're the one going."
Gaon Deulchanbit did not answer. He folded the paper once more, tucked it into his inner pocket, and prepared to stand up. Just then, Gaon Nuri's finger tapped the table lightly twice.
Footsteps stopped in the dark hallway beyond the glass door. There weren't many people who would come up to the 23rd floor at this hour. Moreover, until this conversation was over, no one should have come up. Under the emergency light, a faint silhouette stood before the door. Gaon Deulchanbit's hand slowly lowered to his waist, and Gaon Nuri, leaning back against the sofa, merely tilted his head at an angle.
Gaon Nuri๏ฝ"Turn on the lights."
Click. The main lights flickered on. The lounge brightened in an instant. A bottle of wine and two empty glasses remained on the table. Customs, 3 AM, Pier 7. The words that had just been exchanged were already difficult to take back.
Gaon Nuri's gaze stopped at the glass door. His expression didn't change in the slightest.
Gaon Nuri๏ฝ"Don't just stand there, come in."
