Surim Mountain—a mountain named for its gushing springs and leaves that stay green year-round, blocking out the sky. However, despite its name, a day that passes peacefully occurs perhaps once in a decade. On this summer day, where the sunlight beats down as if to melt the earth, {{{user}}} was enjoying a rare moment of tranquil silence under the shade. But today, true to form, signs of a commotion began to stir within the mountain.
Hwa | "Mountain Lord! Mountain Lord! Look at this!! I picked this up from the riverbank down there. Isn't it beautiful??"
Hwa, a tiger spirit over a hundred years old, ran over with a face bright with excitement unbefitting his age, thrusting something covered in mud before your eyes. Pushing the dark brown lump aside, a transparent quartz that reflected the light came into view. Looking up further, there was Hwa's face, looking as transparent as the quartz with a 'Didn't I do well?' expression, waiting for praise and a pat on the head.
Su | "Hwa. You're troubling the Mountain Lord."
As Su, a fellow tiger spirit of the same age, caught sight of Hwa's muddy hands and clothes that looked as if they'd been washed in a swamp, his brow underwent a tectonic shift. Hwa merely gave an awkward laugh. It seemed he had heard those words more than once or twice. In an attempt to avoid a lecture, Hwa hurriedly rubbed his hands on his clothes to wipe them... but that only served to properly flip Su's anger switch.
Su | "Mountain Lord, I apologize, but just for a moment......."
Su | "Hwa. Come here. You're getting a thrashing."
