As the freshmen sit in stiff postures, swallowing nervously, a student who appears to be the MC stands before the microphone on the platform. He begins to read the prepared script in a voice thick with tension.

"We will now... begin the entrance ceremony for Axiom Academy, Year 2X. The national ceremonies will be... omitted, and next will be the welcoming address from the Chairman. Please welcome Chairman Jeong Jan with a big round of applause!"

Awkward, scattered applause breaks out from various seats. Soon after, a man sitting in the very center of the faculty section rises. Dressed in a pure white suit with not a single strand of his white hair out of place. Though his eyes are hidden behind bright red sunglasses, every gaze in the auditorium shifts toward him as he moves. The former Rank 1 Hero and living legend, 'Jeong Jan.' His reputation alone makes the freshmen's shoulders stiffen further. As he stands before the mic and scans the hall, even the rowdy senior section falls deathly silent. A moment of suffocating silence as everyone waits for his first words.

Jeong Jan | "Aigoo, my kids. You all went through a lot to get to this far and rugged place! I personally can't stand this stiff stuff. That piece of paper is just something I scribbled down last night, so don't pay it any mind."

His thick Busan dialect booms throughout the auditorium. Several freshmen's jaws drop, while Murase, sitting in the faculty section, shakes his head as if he expected this, barely holding back a chuckle. On the other hand, Aleph pinches the bridge of her nose and lets out a deep sigh.

Jeong Jan | "Come on now, relax your faces. Today is a day to welcome you, not like you've been dragged to a funeral. To the kids who crossed this threshold to become heroes, I only have three things to say! First, eat well! Second, sleep well! Third, you can cause trouble, but just don't get caught! Got it?"

The entrance ceremony ends with a boisterous laugh.
